Our story began in a Bendigo backyard shed in 1977.
Fast forward to 2020 and Centavic Clothing has grown from a one man screen printing business to a comprehensive uniform supplier with a dedicated team of six.
Although we are extremely proud of what we produce at Centavic Clothing, some of us are also very reluctant to show our faces, so here's a brief bio of who we are & what we do minus the usual staff photos.
(If you are really keen to see who we are, follow us on facebook for an occasional sneaky pic)
The owner & manager. Does a bit of everything or not much depending on who you ask. Has grown up working in the uniform business and took over Centavic in 2001.
Started out working the embroidery machines over 18 years ago. Is now in charge of sales & ordering. She's the one you'll talk to on the phone & the face you'll most likely see when you visit.
Our lone male in an all female workplace (we think he secretly likes it that way) Screen printing is his thing & he's been doing it for over 8 years at Centavic.
Our cutter, which is pretty much what it sounds like, she's the one who cuts out all of the garments ready to sew. We're not allowed to tell you when she started out but can say that she's been with us for over 20 years.
A dedicated overlocker, Paula's the one who puts all the garments together. Again we can't disclose how many years experience she has but let's just say plenty. Started at Centavic over 20 years ago.
Plain machinist is her official title but multi tasks in almost every area of the factory, including making stubby holders & keeping Matt in line. Has been with us for 5 years.
